Giving back to your hometown is something all successful artists wish to do. RocNation artist Tafia hit me up to do just that. Connecting with his high school alma mater, Tafia alongside myself donated brand new Kyrie Irving sneakers with matching duffles and basketball supplies to both the JV and Varsity Boy’s Basketball teams. The kids enjoyed a nice lunch with the NMB Native and a moment with the City’s Mayor and Chief of Police and Fire. Special guest appearance by MMG artist and DJ Sam Sneak. The event was sponsored by Nike.
